Ariel and her treasured dinglehopper from The Little Mermaid (Disney).
So, I go to 's page all the time to oogle her pretty gallery. Her work is infectious and nostalgic and goodgodheruseofcolorIwanttoEATit! But, I digress -_-. Whenever I go there, I'm always left with this urge to draw Ariel and so, I finally caved in tonight ^___^.
The funny thing is, I used to draw Ariel ALL the time when I was a little girl. Her and unicorns and princesses in ballet slippers. Yes, I was a girly girl. And I suppose I still am. Might as well embrace it sometimes, eh?
aah! *explodes* it's so cute. i love the forms in your style - edgy and soft at the same time - and the way you can use such large crosshatch lines to get your forms across. it's unique and really shows your skill.. awesome! +fav!!
Lovely, a very interesting rendition of Ariel. I can't get over her fin, or fish half, which isn't perfect and slender but looks as if it has muscle when it bends. Very cool. ;3
Gosh, her hair is really pretty in your style.
I'm no different x_x That was my favorite movie when I was small, at least for a long time. I love the way your style looks on her That dreamy wondering expression is still so fresh and appealing, probably always will be.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
