Graphite on Paper
11" x 8"

Further exploration of this idea of the world at large (or small as the case may be). I still don't quite understand the entire meaning of this image. It's easy to say that this is the world that my creatures inhabit. But, that's just the surface of it. Why do they live on a world like this? Why the obsession with bodies? Why does it feel so important that they be gravitating toward one another instead of spread out? Are there other organisms like this one? So on and so forth...

Daily DeviationAn interesting exploratory excursion into what would appear to be questions of identity and communal action. Or one could just say Bound by ~mollygrue is really neat looking. Either way works. (Featured by `zeruch)

"This was my son. Notice how I said was? That's because he's dead. Relegated to the past tense. Went from an is to a was before he had his breakfast." ~The Boss
That's tight, excellent work. Love the concept.

Alaka-bee-weeoop! Old school.
I like the way their expressions are so closed despite their closeness. The shading that fades off into blurriness is really nice too.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
this is a really emotional design... it's beautiful :) and the graphite technique is awesome too
