This might seem really out of place considering what I've been submitting lately, but I enjoy drawing women every now and then too. I just stumbled upon this stock account a few days ago. It's filled with old postcard images and a lot of them are of the pinup variety, which are fun and quirky. They're a complete 180 from contemporary pinups which just look stale, plasticy and unsexy.

Oh, and I'm working on my pen and ink technique now so that I can really beef up my Savage/Civi images. My skills have sadly fallen by the wayside over the last year, but I'm feeling more and more like my old artsy self. Damn, I love to draw.

This is very nice. I like your use of hatching and cross hatching. The woman seems as if she has a very fun personality, by looking at her expression.

Wow, excellent user find. I too prefer the look of these women.

. . . so did my great grandfather; in his attic, was a locked trunk he never mentioned to us; it was filled with pictures like this... In fact, they were quite revealing... :eyes:

Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, the subject looked quite familiar; it was my great grandma... :puke: - I took an ice colder shower shortly thereafter...
