This is incredibly fantastic. I'm working on my own Daphne piece currently.

I desperately want to hang this on my wall. Definitely going to the top of my art wishlist.

Always loved the myths, especially the metamorphoses. Though I never read the work by Ovid. :\ I'm a terrible Classics nerd.

Very nice. It would make a good tatoo too I think! Very nice. I really like the frame they chose to show off the print in!

It really would make an awesome tattoo!

Actually, there are lots of framing choices available on redbubble. I just showcased it in the frame I felt it looked best in.

wrote a piece once on lavinia in titus andronicus comparing her to daphne... the only reason why I bring that up is that it was a comparison based broadly on how various artists/directors had depicted the two across time :) Very interesting to see one more :)

I love her face... I love this in general - makes me very happy.

And you've chosen the right diety I believe . . . all of Apollo's loves eventually morph into something ;)

Nice textures, thanks for the link.

I'm a big fan of Escher's metamorphosis stuff. And there's that cool block print feel about this one.
