I decided about a month ago that I needed to learn how to use Illustrator if I wanted to consider myself a competitive artist. So I wanted to share some of my results. All of today's submissions are designs for t-shirts that can be found on redbubble.com.

A few details about this one in particular:

This one and the previous submission examine negative and positive space. All of the cut out brown sections in this design expose the cloth underneath.

This design is also kind of an homage to John Ford's The Searchers and utilizes compositional elements from the final scene of that astonishing movie.
